Also, I see no reason that a pivot portal shouldn't be made. Possibly have a post limit on the forums before you can upload anything there, though. Since a lot of people will post their poorly done animations. Just make it the same as the link posting limit or something.

I say yay to the pivot portal only because of the focus on stick figures. Pivot is also the worst animation program to ever be made, so I'm also drawn in the middle on this. People who are good at pivot come in far rarer supply than good flash animators because of the completely limiting ways of working. Pivot deserves a portal here and a really high standard for submission due to the shittiest animations that will obviously come.

It wouldn't be hard to make. Just limit the art portal to animated gifs or copy the art portal and do such. It would probably take one week to develop or less if I'm overestimating the creation of portals.

Putting a top of the week or whatever at fewer movies than the flash ones per week would encourage better films and limit any horrible things shown on the front page. (stick figures have dirty doodoo intracourse part 2)

Maybe we should put a bit more of a hold on the idea. =/

Its only because theres so much crap on the FLASH portal (even though flash is supposedly better than pivot) that if there was a pivot portal we'd be up to our knees.
I dont even think the flash portal is any good, personally, because the voting system is so corrupt, with people voting only on their favourite authors etc etc, Im against any sort of portal with the voting mechanism that we currently have.


Maybe if there was a new system chim :/



And if there IS gonna be a section for pivots, i suggest that it gets put with the flashes. That way the good pivoteers still get to shine, the bad ones just get blammed if they fall below a universal standeard for both programs.
Although fi that were to happen there would really need to be something which told you whether the anim was flash or pivot, because if there was no warning Id start to get pretty annoyed personally.
