I kinda don't believe in those end of the world things anymore because they have said that for like thousand times, 2000.year, then another, and so on. Only thing I believe in is global warming shit.

Try reading better. It said "Evidence shows that this has happened 6 times in earth's history", meaning that we have found evidence in the layers of Earth's crust and craters found on the earth's surface that suggest it.
And people, don't say "I don't believe in it". This isn't theology, this isn't a prophecy. It's an example. And it's not like it's that far-fetched. It could happen.
Luckily, however, we're constantly keeping watch for such an occurance, and if a meteor comes hurdling towards earth, all we have to do is intercept it and use a near-by explosion to blow it off course. (Blowing it up wouldn't work at all, unlike in crappy blockbuster movies such as Armageddon ::shudder::)

I would seriously lol if we all died from a gigantic, 500km meteor crashing into us and sending hypersonic shockwaves around the earth, and burning us all to dust.
Oh, and I think the music fit perfectly well with that video.

Scaled next to America, the meteor didn't look like 500km. It look like 1000...
Either way. This doesn't scare me in the least bit, because like what ash said, this will never happen unless there's an inept spaceguard out there somewhere.
