umm hi is there a way i can make a video with windows movie maker and edit it with flash to make it look like im shooting blasts or something

You can import video into flash and then draw on top of it using the File > Import > Import to library and selecting the video. Then you drag into onto the main stage, make a new layer for the effects, and start drawing over the video.

Still a problem when i try to import it (now remember my videos are from windows movie maker) it says "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them" and nothing loads. So please tell me what to do. and i may tell u i windows move maker there is no xport option

I'll tell you why, because Movie Maker sucks ass. AVI is a type of file that can be imported into flash.

There HAS to be an export option in movie maker. look up and Windows Movie Maker exportation tutorial on google, and I'm sure you'll be able to make AVIs then.

umm i download a program and turned the vid into an avi and it still wont load on flash 8! god what the hell is wrong with it!

Wait, why wouldn't you just use Flash? That seems like a real drawn out process for pretty much half the quality.

Look, press publish movie. Then press "This Computer". Continue on and once your done with that, then import it into flash. Then continue on.

But what could possibly need to be imported to flash from WMM?

Okay there is no publish movie button.

but under tab "FINISH" there is button called "save to my computer" thats what im guessing u mean well im pretty sure i tried that and it didnt work it said and i quote

"The source file Movie_0001.wmv contains video in an unsupported format and cannot be encoded" what do i do thats when i got to import to library or import video
