Free public demo for PC users on the 11th.

I downloaded it since I'm impatient and god damn, short demo but I can tell it's gonna be awesome. I played a couple tims and it really is like a different game everytime you play, different ways to go, different pick-me-ups and of course, zombies are never in the same place twice. I am so glad they're weak, I can't imagine having to aim for the head in some of these hoards.

The witch scares the ****ing shit outta me. With the crying and what not. The first time, I just walked on by, and ignored her. But the second time, I flashed my light on her, and she turned to super bitch mode, and raped me.

I never saw a witch, but I did see plenty of boomers, hunters and smokers. Some times the hunters scared me shitless and so did 40 zombies all coming at me down a small hall.

Oh, and setting off the car alarm is fun.

i played the demo, saw witches, boomers, hunters.

it was fun, but i didn't get scared very much. maybe because its daytime atm.

i hope the game is a lot longer then i feel like its going to be.

I don't think it's meant to be mostly single player, it's all about the online co-op. Playing as the infected looks fun, being able to climb walls and jump far and tackle people.

Good news: Hopefully since a TF2 update isn't due until 2009 and once L4D is released they will have minor big fixes because most of them have been addressed in the dmo I'm sure that means they can dedicate more tiem to Episode 3.

Playing as the infected IS fun.

thats why they put a demo out there, to fix bugs before the initial release.

I'm not playing it anymore. I don't want these 2 levels (really its a 1.5 levels, theres more to the subway level) to spoil the rest of the game. Sure, the games about replayability, but I hate when I overplay demos and the atual game suffers because of it.

Let's see. You're playing 2 missions of 5, from the first campaign, of 5. You're playing 2/25ths of the game by trying the demo, and considering each mission can be played multiple ways, you may even be playing less.
