I thought this might be a change of pace. Which James Bond actor best portrayed the character?


Is it Sean Connery, the original and default selection for many people?

Pierce Brosnan, for being so effortlessly suave?

Or maybe Daniel Craig, for giving Bond a brutal and realistic edge?



As for me, I feel that Daniel Craig is the best. He actually looks and acts like he's fought people a lot, and even killed people. He plays the handsome and brutal Bond both so well, creating the deadly balance the character was supposed to have in the Ian Flemming novels.

I say Pierce Brosnan.
Not sure why, but he kinda played the part pretty well with gadgets and women.

I like Gilligan .

Anyway, I haven't seen much of "classic" Bond, as I wasn't actually alive for them and I don't have enough interest in such a bland genre to try to see them all. But I'd go with the new guy, Daniel Craig.

What Bongoe said. It's not that there are Polls forbidden everywhere else but the poll section, it's just that that section is dedicated to them.

But I don't see a reason for a poll here. Especially since there already is a poll about the very same topic in the Poll Section. Oh, and I opened the poll again because the guy probably thought the poll has to have a due date. :B

I think Daniel Craig is the best. Only because I think the other bonds are waay too unrealistic. Seriously, what's the need for all those gadgets if you can do just a good a job without? And all those quips, you would NEVER be able to think up on the spot. Maybe a couple, but not all the ones the old Bond's used.

If we leave Daniel out, I'd vote shaun Connery (SP?) simply because he is IMO the best "unrealistic bond", and just has a natural bondish type personality.
