Talk about the NXE in this thread.

Not counting today there is 3 days left (it's out on the 19th).

What are your views? Excited? Horrified? I'm kinda excited on how it will now look, and I'm looking forward to 8 player chat, and making my avatar, even though it's a ripoff.

I think it'll be cool. As the name implies, it'll be a new experience for 360 users.

Netflix for the win. I really think that NXE has the potential to be cool and not just a rip off.

The new "avatars" aren't gonna be optional, it looks like.

And I really don't think it's that bad of an idea. They're just trying to be more respectful to casual gamers. I have two or three friends who are highly confused by the current interface.

@Microsoft: It's a new dashboard, not a new "experience."

The Netflix compatibility is the only part I care about. Mainly because it streams in HD and I don't have a blu-ray player.

Oh I see. I hope they do something where if you have a game, you get certain clothes or something for your avatar. It would be neat to see a spartan helmet for having halo, a lancer for GoW, or your dog for Fable 2.

I think people first started saying it the second the new update was announced, so its possible they either are going to implement it, or it was already in.

I know it's been said, I hope they do it.

I don't care what they do

But if there's clothing packs that you need to pay to unlock, then I lost faith in Microsoft.
