technically we have evolved, more or less from our love of sports too. humans are now taller that we used to be 4000 years ago. this is because of the ideas that: "a strong husband will be able to defend the family easier," and "a strong husband will be able to work harder and earn more money faster," and finally "a strong husband will be able to be a better athlete.". ideas like these are the closest thing to natural selection that we have, traits such as obesity, disfigurement, and mental disorders are in fact downplayed by (cough) womens "tastes in men" (cough). actually when you think about it, evolution does not have to take place if the individual lives but only if they reproduce.

humans do not need to evole any more as we have masterd our enviroments and are able to use tools in the place of what evolution could give us
