I've heard a lot about this hilarious new conspiracy theory lately. (sorry if that comes off as an ad hominem, but I always find conspiracy theories rather suspect)

Anyone else heard of this? Think it's real? Debate go.

Has anyone thought of actually finding out what the "chemtrails" are made of? I suppose it would be hard to measure, but still.

It's water vapor exhaust from jet engines. Contrails are more prevalent when there is an upper level low present or near the area. That's pretty much it. . . there's no real proof that it's anything otherwise, but there is a strikingly large and active group of proponents for the theory. Personally I think it's full of shit.

It's just the product of some idiot looking up to the sky, seeing one and going "Holy shit wtf is that"

Even if was pure mustard gas or something, the winds would obviously disperse it immediately.

This is just the meaning of "fear of the unknown".

Yeah, that's actually where I first read about this from. Apparently the scientology folks have "action plans" for what to do if you see chemtrails in the area. Very strange stuff. . .

I really doubt there is anything behind this conspiracy. But it seems pretty more plausible than others I have read.

What about it seems plausible? The entire conspiracy consists of people looking up, seeing vapor trails, and, due to ignorance and paranoia, saying THE GOVERNMENT IS PUTTING MIND CONTROL JUICE IN THE AIR!


I don't think they realize that private jets do the same exact ****ing thing.

But you have to think like them.
What we think of as private jets are military controlled planes that are releasing mind control shit in the air.

There is no such thing as private jets.

So, when I go get a pilot's liscence and buy a private jet, I am instantly removed from existance and replaced by a military controlled plane?
