How long do you think would be too long for a flash animation? So far I have 11 minutes of animation and if I keep going like this it'll probably be about 45 minutes when it ends, is this too long?

Not if it's good.

I meant like as a matter of file size and whatnot, I was asking if that length would cause issues with easily hosting the file?

No not really. But if it sucks no one will want to sit through it for 45 minutes.

You would have to split it up into different parts. I don't think you would be able to find a site that would host such a large file. Even if you did, it would take a very long time to load for the people that are trying to watch it.
Castle 3 was a little over half an hour long, but it was split up into four parts.

45 mins of animation, dude, thats long! :p you can only fit 16000 frames in each file i think, so you'd have to split it into different parts.
and a 45 min animation better be interesting, otherwise noone will watch it.

You should just cut it up into episodes, not have a long ass 45 minuted flash animation.

Thank you guys good suggestions. Maybe I should stop at 11 minutes for now.
And that frame limit..I thought that was per scene, not per project?
