You use a lot of layers Miccool. But whatever works I guess. I'd use 227 layers if i could make my animations look like your' in Entanglement.

I'm only using like eighty layers, including the menu and everything

thats loads.

I dont like alot layers. Most was 30 I used, and it was in my shortest short, due to the movie clips. I mostly have around 1-10

lol, i use a layer for every possible thing. but not as much as miccool. well i'm around 40 seconds everyone. hope everyone is getting their movie cleaned up for the big showing.

BTW- for sending in the animation by midnight.. what if we don't live in the same time zone?

Its just a case of how many things you've got going on at the same time.
I mean, you might have 50 odd layers, but that could just be for one 5 second cinematic... you only use around 15 for the bulk of the animation.

(But I guess you guys have lots of things going on in your animations all the time, so i guess that second thing I said doesnt apply)

Nah, I'm just too lazy to organize and reuse layers ;-;.. I probably have only 40 layers max going at one time.
