Just noticed it on AOTS.
A woman's daughter was being bullied by some girl, so the mother posed as a 16 year old girl and harassed the bully to the point of her suicide. That aside, the trial led to 3 misdemeanor charges, all due to breaking MySpace's ToS.
So joining this site while under 13 could be considered a misdemeanor.
You hear that Shanto? =D
Thoughts?
Breaking ToS a Misdemeanor?

Is there really anything in this sites ToS saying users under 13 aren't allowed? I just figured everyone said that because similar forums had that rule. Then again, they're all phpBB forums.

What does that have to do with this? It's Terms of Service, period. Nearly every site has one.

Ye bully control is getting out of hand, the state of Flordia now has like big anti-bullying law. The school's now have to call in the police if they have ANY confirmed cases of bullying, including cyber bullying, no matter how small, and before they confront the bully. I had to sit through a class meeting about it this morning.

I don't see what's so bad about it. If the bully committed suicide; it should have been apparent that the bully was, you know, being a bully for emotional reasons. Maybe physical abuse or psychological abuse. Maybe she felt like she wasn't wanted/nobody understood her? There's no real specifics. The mother had it coming. There's a point where it's acceptable and there's a point where it's overkill.
In lieu of the topic of Myspace: Myspace is a social networking service and it's perfectly fine. It was made as a medium for more topics than, say, a forum can handle, obviously. You could call it a form of advertising, too, if you want to, since a lot of businesses, bands, radio stations, independent authors, etc. have a MySpace accounts in which they can relate more to the consumer, fans, or whoever the viewers may be. Just because people you don't like and/or people you don't associate with use it and talk about it all the time doesn't make it a bad thing. It's just popular and you're pulling the "non-conformist" card, which makes you look like twice the idiot.

now is the time where I would be waving at the crowd with that fantastic grin of satisfaction and tell them to buy my incredible product of masculinity however seeing as enzyte definitely got charged with consumer fraud, the only person that would lose is me!

Well it was some lady that made a fake Myspace account and messed with her neighbor (a teenage girl), which led to the neighbor chick committing suicide.
