6/10 Nice composition, but as an avatar the details are too small to see very well, and there is not much contrast.
8/10 Very cool design, nice colors. I think the SSS in white could be toned down a bit, to the off-white of the main design, because right now it looks out of place. I would also not use a bevel on the "M...IC" in the background as it doesn't fit very well with the flat-shaded style of the main graphic, in my opinion.
