So, I bought a EDUP Wireless Adapter off Ebay so I could play on the internet from the living room without dragging my modem/router out there.
So I received it today in the mail, I open the box, open my computer, pop it inside and twist the receiver on, done. I close up my computer, turn it on and proceed. I pop in the disk it came with, install the driver the back of my computer where the receiver is has a blue light, I then proceed to test to see if it's working by unplugging my Ethernet cord from my computer, to my surprise (/sarcasm) It disconnected me from the internet and the wireless receiver didn't connect to my modem/router.
What the ****!

Check the website. They'll be more helpful then us.
Also make sure you didn't install it backwards. I did that once.

So, I went into the Device Manager and it has a yellow exclamation point, when I click "Properties" it says
"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."
Now what? what device do I disable to make this device work!

Do you have a wireless router? And if yes, is it compatible with your adapter?
Dec 9, 2008 4:05 AM #310678
That's odd. I can't really help much more without actually being there.

I mean, is your specific brand of router compatible with your specific brand of adapter. Occasionally, that can be a problem.

I highly doubt it, but I've been searching the internet and lots of people have been having a problem similar to this when buying this off Ebay... Gay.
