Population will plummet in a couple hundred years, because we will no longer be able to sustain such population (due to war, economic failure, poverty, AIDS, etc). Not too long after that, global warming kills the rest of us, assuming war hasn't already.

what is there to be confused about? global warming means that there will be less areas to support life, forcing humans to fight over what's left. but if war starts before global warming has a huge effect, all the pollution going into the air and the damage to earth will cause a huge disaster. one leadds to another.
