I find some new guy who you should really look out for in the next year, his name is Asher Roth and he's a skinny, nerdy white guy from the 'burbs who is pretty awesome.
His first mixtape has songs produced by Andre 3000, Dr.Dre, Kanye West and a whole host of other top names.

Pretty much every single song on that album is great.

For people who don't know, "Jeanius" was leaked a couple years ago, and then was released officially this year. From what I understand, they could clear a lot of the samples that were going to be used, so they had to hire some musicians to try and play them and get the same feel. For the most part it didn't work, so if you can, try and find the leaked version. It's better.
