You forget that everyone you listed sucks (except for biggie and wu tang of course) and that dealing drugs isn't a cornerstone in hip hop culture. In fact, nwa, dr dre, and snoop dogg pretty much created the shitty musical situation we're in right now where you can slap any shitty techno beat with any shitty rhyme about strippers and you get a hit.

Uh, I'm pretty sure they had a large impact on the classic hip hop culture..

Kool Keith/Dr. Octagon/whatever and The Go! Team are the only hip-hop I'm listening to atm (The Go! Team is kind of a stretch, but they have hip-hop influences at least).
