Did you guys use SWiSH to make these awesome movies?
See, I'm trying to unlock SWiSH2 and it keeps telling me that there are errors in my SITE CODE, which of the the following choices shall I choose:
1. Put in the wrong year.
2. Download Macromedia Flash Professional 8 (the first movies I made and terribly sucked).
3. Fail
Anyways, Im going to make THE ANIMATOR Commercial in a few weeks.
Which Program is better, Macromedia Flash Professional 8 or , SWiSH2:Smile:  ?

I use flash......I like easytoon too, never heard of swish......I have anime master pro.....I might have toon boom also.....but, they're easy to learn if you don't like how wide spread flash is, but, I suggest flash.
there's also a program called tv-paint that I'm checking out.

This isn't Poke'Mon. Practice. It's not like people were experts when they started.

Aniking, Flash is far superior to Swish.
And to get good at it, all you need is a lot of practice in a lot of spare time. There is no secret magical way that will somehow immediately make you an amazing animator overnight.
Watch basic tutorials (you can probably find some on youtube) and use common sense. Post in the beginner's thread in the flash section for feedback on your early animations, and ask for help with things you do not understand in the general help section. Within about half a year you should have strong knowledge of the program you are using, and be decent at animating with it (at least enough to move away from the beginner's thread, assuming you have practiced enough).
To become an animator with abilities like those you see on the frontpage of stickpage.com will take about 2 years. From there you will have little difficultly moving on to more complex forms of animation like fullbody and integrating 3-D animation into your 2-D ones (see: xaio xaio).
It is also a good idea to spend some time learning flash's scripting language, actionscript. This will allow you to make games and add features to your animations like preloaders, scene selection, and the option to turn things like sound or subtitles on or off.
Most importantly, think about what you're doing: if you don't like the way something looks, try fixing it before you start crying about how you're a bad animator, this is the downfall of many.
I totally cbf to write any more here.
