Ladies and gents, we're getting a little loose about this on the forum. Do I care if you're sig is a little bit over the limit? Not really. But some people have double if not triple the max size. It's ridiculous.

What's the max size? 500x150. That exact size is represented by this rectangle.



Now let's compare this to some other sigs I can randomly find.

Agreed. I'm not sure if 2-D hates Photoshop's "Image Size" option or if he just generally likes having unnecessarily large sigs.

Well, posting music in the main section isn't at all annoying, as it's easily avoidable. Just don't choose to view the thread.
Having some gigantic signature that requires me to scroll for 5 minutes usually isn't avoidable and is really quite annoying.

One is a rule that is there for keeping things organized while the other is there to avoid conflict, etc. It's a lot more likely to be flamed for your signature size then to be flamed for showing off your music in the main section.

Actually, posting music in main does bother me. I've tried to deter it, but I couldn't. Thanks for speaking for me though. And it's not like you've done anything for the cause.

Why does it matter to me? Because admins and mods are the executive branch of websites. It's our job to enforce. Am I going around banning people sigs? No, I'm posting a public service announcement. Go cry somewhere else.
