Yeah, that new one's pretty sweet. The only things I would really change about it would be making the "est 2008" stand out a bit more from the background, and connecting the letters on the top so they look 3d, instead of shadows

Edited and improved the second one, thanks for the tips, I think it looks better.

I don't like it. It all seems to big and clumsy.

Maybe work on some more minimalistic designs.
