I used to scare myself at night, while trying to sleep, by saying things to myself like "If it can see any part of my body, it will take me away and kill me".
I'm not sure why I did it, but I really convinced myself that would happen.
I remember doing this when I was young, up to my early teens, feeling that pang of terror near the bed and jumping into it because that was the '' safe place ''
I still feel that Pang! feeling sometimes, scratching at my spine.
I used to think that a no outlet sign meant if you stayed in that area too long you couldn't get out.
@MoD I used to do that. I also awoke to a quite room and used to seal my whole body off from the fear of little goblins around my bed, when I got out I would jump as far out as possible and run out my door.
After every superhero movie I went to see on the Theatres, I thought I could do what they did.
I learned it hard when I cracked my head trying to be spiderman.
i did a smiliar thing when i was little when i watched triple x in the cinema and i jumped down the stairs and rolled at the bottom. it must have been awesome, and there were two guys watching and they laughed at me.
