I'm not sure if it's the exact same thing that happened to me, but it sounds pretty similar. I got it from an ad that was embedded on some site that had a self-extractor in it when I was using Opera. It was called Antivirus 360 but wikipedia says they're the same thing.

Anyways, I got rid of it using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It's free and can be downloaded here.

Once you install it, the setup is fairly easy and you should be able to do the rest on your own. Good luck.

Thats the one I had, it's ****ing annoying.

Reformatting was easier, just had to back up my porn ;)

Actually it was really easy to get rid of with MBAM. Plus it only took a few minutes to get rid of.

Also to TS: this link will walk you through it and gives some nice information in case you need some extra help. Just scroll down to the "Automated Removal Instructions for Antivirus 360 using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" part

Well download it on another computer and then put it on a USB, floppy, or CD and then open it on the infected computer.
