Drew this with pencil, then decided to colour it in with markers, seeing as pencils just don't seem to work...

Hope you like it! This is my favourite drawing that i've done...

EDIT: Btw, the style of drawing is supposed to be like that, seeing as the anime was made in 1998.

Yes, it is. But, that isn't needed. Perhaps you feel you can't take criticism, in which case you should have not shown this image to us.
I'm aware the first 2 comments were rather harsh, but you should accept that and see the ways to improve by what they're saying.

Your lines need to be straighter, your proportions need to be better. Colouring isn't bad, but you could fix it up a bit.

'draw'? why did you put apostrophes around draw? did you trace it?

I'm just annoyed right now... Anyway,

the reasoning for me putting this:
'draw' is because i felt like it wasn't a drawing, but rather something else entirely due to the comments made by certain people.

I accept your criticism, etc.

If anyone knows of a good art forum, please tell me...

The only reason i might not be able to take criticism is because everyone around me is better at everything than me, making me feel like i am in a deep hole that i can never climb out of, due to the people on the surface pushing me back in.

I'm not popular enough to be able to like something different, so for now, i'm giving up on anime, etc.

By the way, LakE, do you draw?

mm heh, nobody can teach you that. The best way is that you practice and study anatomy a little bit. Go to the library, borrow some books with anatomy(there should be some books with anatomy for artists too, so pick those) and get drawing.

I know this might sound a bit hypocritical, as I need to work a lot on my anatomy aswell, but that would be a good start.

More than practice, drawing is about how much you know about how something looks like. You practice shading and coloring by watching how the light flass on an object, how do colors mix, etc.

Good luck.
