Possibly one of the newer ones. Unless, of course, somebody could find a working ROM of Fire Red, then I'll just continue with that. But the past 3 I've tried have all had problems.

If you have fire red on a pc using the visual boy advance emulator, you have to save going: file > save. For some reason it doesn't work through the ingame menu.

Yeah, that's how I did it, but it still didn't save. No ROMs seem to be working, either.

Get a Pikachu and name it "Leather Belt".

No, I haven't figured it out yet. I haven't tried to yet though, to be honest, since no games are playing.

Maybe it's because of the ROM, try getting another, or maybe it's the emulators fault.
I had a similar problem with Advanced Wars
