I tried speeding it up with flash and everything.. it didn't work..

it moves off of where it starts,,,, i usually draw a line to make sure i keep myself centered,

this is actually really good. if you look at it in the right perspective. instead of a 2d side view (which i think you were looking for?) you can turn it into a 3/4 view and the bit you have done would be a wavelet.

master has a point. it looks a little bit like a wave. from the perspective that if you were looking towards a shoreline from the sea, and the wave was moving to the shore.

Ignoring that idea. I think it looked good for 2d water right up until the end.

Although I do see what they mean and that looks cool.
