Who here actually owns their own place, whether it be a house, apartment, condo, box, hydrant, whatever.

I'm moving here in just a little bit. A month, to be exact.

A 2 room apartment, 800+ square feet, for 695 a month. I checked the place out, and I'll tell you now, I'm getting a ****ing steal. Good neighborhood, good amenities, etc etc. Plus, its REALLY close to my work. The only question is whether I get a two story place or a single story.

If I get a two story, it'll cost a bit more and the chore of walking up and down stairs, but I'll basically be able to be as loud as I want without having to worry about upstairs or downstairs neighbors.

Anyone else with their own place?

I was a co-owner of an old farm house which I inherited with my family, but we sold it. That's pretty much it.

Congrats for having your own place.

I can't own my own place legally until I'm 18. So, as soon as I hit 18 I'm moving out. If I choose to go to University out of my city then I get a grant for a flat.

Also, I'd suggest a single story if there's only you moving in.

proximity to campus is key

so is parking and laundry

if you can find all utilities included in rent, gold mine

The downstairs is a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and the door to get in and out of the house

Improbable for renting out

The place I'm looking at has really good utilities, Real.
