Not exactly. There might be some that are smaller, but offer negligible security when compared to resource hogs like McAffee.

As far as functionality is concerned Norton, AVG, Avira and Mcafee all are good. I personally use AVG and it is quiet effective anti-virus program.

Kaspersky is the best I've used so far. It reacts to even the slightest threat, very effective.
