i wondered about that too. if theres such an intense light there should be much more dark shadings.

all in all quite decent concept, could need some more rendered details.
the head n face look a bit weird (its kind of unsymmetric and angular) but thats ok.
the hand is nice

It looks pretty nice, but he also looks a little bit chubby. If thats what you wanted than its good.
