He never said people with different beliefs, he said people who are purposefully ignorant.

Quote from GyohdonMarriage is nothing christian.
The stole it from the jews who stole it from the egyptians.
And right now, marriage is only seen as tradition and not as something religious.
I do not disagree at all, but I do say it is provocative to do try a Christian marriage (which obviously is different from a Jewish or Egyptian marriage).

Not trying to sound racist here, but why is everyone in favour of Gay marriage?

Most people (outside America) don't see the problem with homosexuality any more. These days the prevailing view is that there is no more differance between gays and non-gays than between blacks and whites or people with blonde hair and people with brown hair.

Theory doesn't mean "I have a theory that Jenny stole the cookie from the cookie jar" Theory means "I spent decades at least researching being criticized gaining a lot of proof and making facts" It makes me angry when people think theory is a weak term. Theory is on the same level as fact. Gravity is a theory. Plate Tectonics is a theory. Yet both of those are "blindly followed" as you say. There is no higher level than theory in science.

"In science, the word theory is used as a plausible general principle or body of principles offered to explain a phenomenon." from wikipedia.
Theory is a weaker term, the stronger one being law. That does not, however, mean that it is a weak term. As Buttons said, people have usually spent years researching a theory, and you can bet on that many skeptics have spent time trying to disprove it as well. The fact that the theory still remains means that through countless of experiments it has been proven to be true, but it also means that we cannot be entirely sure, because things we have not yet discovered may affect the theory, and we may have to modify or scrap it.
Generally, theories are more used in biology, while laws are used in physics, because with the universe being infinite and all that, there's likely a lot regarding life we do not know jack about, so we are reluctant to state anything as definite truths.

Conservative is the exact opposite of all of your views.

Oh that's hilarious that you added your little anti-religious view in there, because of course if someone is against gay marriage then they must be a "religious fundie." I mean, that's just a fact. All people against gay marriage are religious extremists. It's not like that is a huge stereotype and generalization or anything. [/sarcasm]
Seriously, there are TONS of religious people who voted NO on prop 8, and probably a good handful of atheists who voted yes.
Please, leave your stereotypes and biases at the door when you enter one of my threads.

Excuse me, but the assumption that a RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALIST, (NOTICE THE WORD FUNDAMENTALIST) WITH A LITERAL INTEPRETATION OF THE BIBLE WOULD BE AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE IS A FAIR ASSUMPTION TO MAKE. IT SAYS SO RIGHT IN THE ****ING BIBLE, AND A FUNDAMENTALIST IS A PERSON WHO STICKS TO THE BIBLE LIKE WHITE ON RYE.
Besides, the fix was meant to be a joke. It seems to me like anytime I say the word "religious" you immediately assume i am blasting it and ignore context clues such as "FUNDIE".
