FEAR 2 just came out, does anyone have it? I know its available on steam.

I've played the demo, and it looks awesome. Though many people say it lacks the fear of FEAR 1 (no pun intended). Also, some have said Dead Space is much better, though that's a rather unfair comparison - Dead Space is in a league of it's own, and is really scary. But from the videos I've seen, the graphics are stunning and it still seems quite scary and the demo had immense gameplay.

I bought it.
I really like it, people keep bashing it but I think those are just stupid egocentric people which can't enjoy a game, just destroy it's reputation.

I'm not going to buy it just because I don't have the cash. But I know for sure it's a good game.

I've watched the walkthrough for the entire game. It's got good action moments and good horror moments. But holy shit, the ending is ****ed up.

1 Question - is it best to have completed the first? I've got it, but it's getting on my nerves all this "you'll have to go in alone to a large building to find a girl" crap. Is the story line in FEAR 1 needed?

My computer can't run it well, so there's no way I'd pirate it. If anything, I'd get it on the consoles.

No need for the first FEAR, my bother played it tip to tip and he never played the first.
And he understood the story quite well.

Oh right. Didn't know posting that stuff wasn't allowed (being as it takes like 2 clicks to get to it). Sorry for that.

in the demo, the girl pops up 3 or more times behind you, just incase you happen to be looking behind you for a second.
I only saw her once when looking behind me. Scared the **** out of me.

Yeah I hate it when you least expect it. In the demo, I've only seen her once after going in this room to get a medkit. FEAR 1 is scary, she always pops up when you least expect it.
