Right, I know there's something majorly wrong with this animation, and I just dont know what I'm doing wrong, I just seem to be going downhill.

I need some good, precise advice please, before i fall into a swirling dark portal of despair and never get back out again.
Or this one's a closer look.

What you need to do is take time on each frame, once you done one, go back to previous and see if they link together if you know what i mean. Make sure each movement is fluent. Check out...

Yeah I did watch that tutorial before, but now watching it again...
I think i need to put more frames per movement in too, it all goes too quickly, like i should be at a lower framerate but i don't want to be :P. Thanks for the help.

Also, you should think of what stephenyoung91 said.

aaaaaaaand I forgot to say, once you have this basic down you dont have to use the curves anymore, for now they'll help you A LOT :)

So i've got to pay more attention to individual frames, use curves, so he doesnt just stop dead in mid air... timing for each move... although im not quite sure what the ball was an example of, the correct time it should be in the air?
I think i'll have another shot at the same sort of thing now...
wish me luck.
Thanks for the help guys,
and you made that just for me? :P

Ok i sorta made another one, it's remarkably similar to hyun's tutorial, this is completely coincidental.... <.<.... >.>...
Okay so i watched the tutorial and then tried this, found it very helpful.
Next im gonna do one with a whole lot of jumping so i can try out curving :)

i know lol i always put the heads on at the end
i just started making one, tried to do that and it ended up worse than all my others by far, anyway i posted a better one at the bottom of the first page after following hyun's tut. if you could C&C that that would be great.
Thanks.

Great, this one looks much better, well you dont have to use those curves, I just want to tell you how it works, animation should be smooth and fluent, not confusing, once hes in the air he should prepare for the kick then boom ! kick ! and then falling, slow, faster, fastest falling and boom ! landing ! dynamic, thats another important thing, connected with easing, do you know what easing is ?

yeah i know what easing is, i've made a few animations it's just that that one i started was much worse than my others, so i thought i was getting worse.
At least i think i know what easing is, is it where, say your stickman jumps and when he lands his movements get slower and slower until he stops? sorta like that.

Your improving :) keep at it. Also what else might help is looking at other animations, get ideas, dont rip them thought. This will help a bit imho with movements, where and when to put them if you get what i mean.
