He's saying that there is a new animation program out, it's in beta, but he can't post a link to it because he doesn't have 20 posts.

Actually I just released the windows beta yesterday... it's at the site mentioned above. Give it a spin! But remember it *is* a beta, so there are bugs in it that I'm working on fixing for the official release in April. Any feedback you want to give is appreciated.

No joke... why would you think it's a joke? I make the rounds on a number of different forums that are talking about Stykz... haven't released the official 1.0 yet, so I want to fix things that people report aren't working right and answer questions people have about Stykz.

this thread fails i already made a much more in depth of a thread and i downloaded stykz, and its not worth using YET, it has some interesting features but its a bit confusing at first.

Can you please explain how this is different from Pivot, other then the interface?

I actually do like the program. There isn't enough that's different from Pivot to make me stick at it, but it's enjoyable and has a few differing features which makes animating easier, such as editing the Stickfigure on the animation itself and a 'fill' tool. I like the fact that there are a few different windows so you can move them about as you like and there's a seperate viewing screen.
For now, however, I will stick to Pivot as there's hardly any difference at all. It's a nice program nonetheless but it has way too many similarities.

niice
i quite like this
but i still prefer pivot
bugs: when exporting gif, it doesnt export in chosen frame rate.. only in frame rate 10
thats a problem, so this makes smooth 17 fps anims, look choppy at 10 fps

i thoought i would try out the idea of on stage editing, and i really like it
