Alright, i know this should go in to the forum suggestions, but, nobody ever checks that thread anyways so here goes.

Ok as everyone knows, the pivot section is hopelessly populated by shitty animators who think there so bad ass, so what if crazy jay or zulu make a requirment to have a certain number of posts and/or have an "all clear" from an advanced animator untill they can go into the regular section. What i mean by this is, either make it so noone can post new threads in the pivot section unless there usernames are on the permission's list. Also what i mean the the "all clear" is to set up a point system which animators can apply for (so they dont just post one animation and leave) to post in the regular section after they get the all clear mark by an advanced member. So post all your feedback and CC on this idea.

This isn't a good idea. Im not putting you down or anything, I used to think the same way as you. If you really don't like them then just ignore them, if they make a thread then just don't take the time to go in and flame the new members.


However I do believe perhaps a new feature be added where whenever you view the Pivot section for the first time it comes up with a message that gets in the way of everything that gives directions for the new members.

This site is more leaned towards flash. if they want to pursue pivot, go to droidz or the other one.

Also if you did that the main would be flooded with pivots. Which wouldn't be good.

Let's just remove the Pivot section all together for a week and see what happens, because that would be exactly what would happen if we did what you suggested.

This is a terrible idea, it automatically discourages new animators, and it's a shitload of work that I would not do.

yeah mods will do a ton of work for the pivot section which people don't usually go to
