Hot glue gun to waterproof cell phone?

Coat the circuit board in a thin layer, battery contacts, open up the lcd case, coat all its contacts in thin layer, seal around edge of the rubber buttons pad. Think it would work?

And any suggestions on the speakers? Glue on them would seriously distort the sound...

I don't see how useful a cellphone covered in hot glue would be. Or why you'd be so careless as to let it get wet in the first place.

Most likely wouldn't work.

It could work if he puts a protective layer on them like he said, but he would have to be very careful. And use a cheap crappy old phone so you can test it in the sink or something.
