Basically, a little girl got raped and impregnated (With twins, no less), and when some people helped her get an abortion, not only did the Catholic Church try to stop the abortion, but when they were unsuccessful at preventing it, they excommunicated the doctor, family, etc.
God, this pisses me off so ****ing much. That someone who believes that it it is more desirable for a 9 year old girl, who could probably not carry one baby, let alone TWINS, in her uterus, to go through with the pregnancy than to have an abortion simply because they think it is THEOLOGICALLY, not morally, wrong, is an abomination.
This, plus the film Deliver Us From Evil, have gotten me to really hate the Catholic church.

I don't like the, "God's law is above any law," not because of it's placement, but because one would rather have a dead girl and possibly deformed babies, according to God. If God wants all of his "creations" to be happy, twins for a 9-year-old girl wouldn't be happy for the mother, or the girl. Depending on your opinions of course, isn't the doctor and family also bringing harm the kids' lives?
