Vista is getting more and more suspicious every day. It's starting to get more buggy and "nerve" racking. So here goes:

• Whenever I finish watching a film on Windows Media Player 11 and then open another film to start watching, a error comes up "Windows Media Player is not responding" and it happens every time. Even when I just close it. I'm not mad, I just think that that happening too many times is not good for my computer.
  

• My computer also sometimes becomes a blue screen and on the blue screen it says "Dumping physical memory..." This usually and rarely happens but is getting more often is when I quit the game Half life Episode 2. The check for solution only gives the suggestion to uninstall the HLF2.exe engine it but that isn't useful. I don't want to uninstall

That's all for now but it's really bugging me. I think I might reinstall Windows Media Player 11 soon to see if anything changes.

My computer's hard drive completely went last week with vista. I have to work with xp now, having bought a new hard drive. I also had to get a new graphics card and sound card.

thats a problem with either your video card or your ram. the same thing happened to me as soon as i bought a new video card and some more ram. download memtest86.

if it says your ram is okay, then its probably your video card, so try updating your drivers or something i dont know.

Easy fix. Upgrade to 4 GB and you'll have no problem whatsoever. Well With media player maybe, but just use VLC for films and Winamp for music.

I do use winamp for music. I just wish it played videos too because it had incredible sound quality. I may try reinstall Windows Media Player. There is not point in upgrading a prebuilt computer. I might get a better custom build computer soon.

Sure can add some ram? It's just buy -> put it in -> done.

yea, my computer has to check its drivers for consistency every time it starts up.

Its really ffed up, I have to wait for about 5 things to load to tell me my drivers are blocked every time I start up, and its really pissing me off.
