I cancelled my Gamestop pre-order and got another one right off of the EA website. Got my beta key, and god the game ran so bad.

Max of 12 fps on medium settings 1280x720 and 20 fps or so on minimum/low.

The game was unplayable, the combination of bad performance on my end and overall server latency made it impossible. I was running alot slower than I did on the Xbox 360 demo, while sprinting. I could never get a kill let alone a damage indicator pop-up. Everytime I died it did a short "replay" of exactly what I was just doing. Alot of crashes.

Looks like it's time to update the PC. It's 5 years old excluding the Video card and the Memory.

Running on high solid 60 fps, except when all 32 people decide to use explosive a blow every building in site up.

i5-750
Asus 5770 1Gb DDR3
2Gb or DDR3 1333mhz. Soon to be 4gb when I get window 7 ultimate 64x

SO MUCH FUN.

Also Dx9c wont let you change aa setting which sucks.

I was thinking about getting a new computer case, new motherboard, new CPU and a new video card. If I saw the 5970(Or is it 80 I forget) on the market I would have honestly tried to buy it, but seeing as it is extinct as of last november I'll try to grab a 5870. Would an Intel i7 be a good idea for an upgrade?

Yeah decent choices although funnily enough the i7 has been doing worse then some core duos.

Also "g is mia" is censored in chat for some reason

My computer sucks horribly so I'm forced to play at medium settings lol

Planning to upgrade soon though, this game is too good to play with shitty graphics.

Dude I can't even play the game at low. My CPU is bottlenecking the rest of the PC, its about 5 or 6 years old.

Been playing this on 360, I'm def. preordering it. Everything about this game I like. The sound, graphics, sniping. Sniping is one thing I'll talk about. It doesn't have the scope weaving like in mw2, the scope stays still, bullet drop is great too, mainly when people don't estimate it right. I remember I was playing, I was recon class. In the attic of a building, building begins flashing red, I freak out. Plant 3 C4 on the side of the wall, blow them, and run out the building. I love building damage. Once this comes out, I doubt i'm going to be touching MW2 much.

Only had the chance to play it twice so far. It's incredible. The MP feels just like the first, which is great. Can't wait for the release.

the only game that gave me that feeling was Red Faction: Guerilla, but then again, you could survive the building collapse.

You can survive a building collapse if your lucky. As you get killed by debris not just insta death

Same in RF. It's just that the debris would only make you fall, even if it were a 3-story apartment fall on you. I was going to get the BF:2 demo off of LIVE, but i need at least a onth of gold, I've been using 48 hour cards.
