Actually, no. This isn't really directed just at him. I just saw a couple of his animations and...they're freakin' epic to say the least. I'm just wondering if it's even possible to do all that stuff with just Pivot, and if not, what else he uses to aid him. And, how long he'd been working to get that good.

Just curious is all.

Well, he does it on Flash.

You could do it on Pivot, I guess, even though the effects would take forever, and the quality would be nowhere near Flash quality.

Pivot lacks the ability to change limb lengths, which gives absolutely no sense of realistic depth, which makes the advanced moves he does very difficult to do in Pivot.

And he actually didn't take too long to get good, he was just very dedicated to it.

He also doesn't go here anymore.

I haven't seen Jcamelo in a while now.

Has he run off to Fluidanims.com or somewhere?

He was on ShiftLimits a while ago and if he didn't leave again (he did I guess) you'd be seeing him around here animating for TLTFT.

JCamelo uses Flash. The movement he does could be replicated in Pivot with some effort but certainly the graphics and the effects, the design and certain angles are impossible in Pivot. If you want to be like him you're going to have to turn to Flash, mate.

Maybe he got a life or something, and just gets on the computer to animate and talks to people he actually knows in real life.

Any effect can be replicated in Pivot, it just takes longer and more effort, the sane goes for angles.

Unless your on about gaussian blurs and the like, that can't be done.

shiftlimits is gone... so he's effectively nowhere on the internet now...

I managed to get the limbs to change length in my second and third juggling animations (currently in the begginer section of pivot) but I had to edit the main stickman each time and delete his arm and redraw it. That's why it's not very good (amongst other things).

Once you've done it six times it doesn't take much effort to just delete the last stickman and load the next. You end up with each combination of arm lengths saved seperately.

pivot is the preparing for further animation, you should use pivot for like 1-2 months, then after you've done the basics of animation (easing, smoothness, stiffness) you should learn Flash, then 3d.

3D is kinda optional, I've touched into it but i'd rather leaner 3D while specializing in 2D
