nobody that I know IRL has heard of the half life series, or heard of valve, or heard of steam. They're all console fags, but have played TF2, and still don't know about half life (they mustn't have got it in the orange box). The only person that knows about it is my sister because we used to play the original half life together. I remember liking the split screen versus.

My friend refuses to play the orange box and constantly plays Call of Duty. For some reason it annoys me that quite a few people I know don't share my love for half-life, or for any Valve games. Valve are genius, one of the only gaming companies that haven't made a bad game.

I haven't played any of the Half Life episodes, I've wanted to but I'd always spend my money on something else.

I get to play Half Life for the first time tomorrow. Muahahaha.

Well, third world countries are excused and I think they are the only ones who haven't heard of Half-Life.

whenever my friend sees "hl2" he always thinks it means "halo 2". I hate how all of my friends only use consoles, and the one that does go on the PC occasionally doesn't know anything about these games.

My friend keeps saying "well I'll buy yours off you for £15" for certain games. And he fails to realise/care that we won't be able to play online (at the same time). Also, do your friends seem to think PC's are incapable of playing games with good graphics and gameplay? One mate came round to my house and tried to play COD4, and he died 2 seconds in because he literally found it impossible to aim with the mouse.

The mouse/keyboard control combo is 23947832904 times better then a controller.

My friends aren't completely retarded when it comes to PC gaming (Infact a friend of mine plays SC and Diablo all the ****ing time.)

But 99.9% of my friends don't want to chip in the extra money to make PC gaming worth it to them.

heh. I guess my friends must be really retarded then. They even said "Your PC's really good for gaming maybe, but it will be really slow and crap at everything else".
