Suggestions, critisism and general comments please, also any links to tutorials you think I might find fun to try. Anyway, will update this as i draw stuff and i'll think about texturing it later. Still trying to figure out the lighting system so either help or try to deal with me using the default settings.

Might be cool to have a couple carts and/or cannons here and there just to add a bit of a sense that the castle is being used. And every castle needs some flags and a gate :D

Looks really cool so far though, are you using 3ds max? Oh, and are you going to add any little people or creatures of some sort to inhabit it?

Cannons and flags, I have no idea how to make, but a gate and some carts i'll do tomorrow or now if i can be bothered. I'm using maya, its simlar to swift 3D but way more complicated. As for creatures, i'll draw box people at some point.

If its anything like 3ds max, then cannons would just be tubes on boxes with some cylinders for wheels at their very basic structure. I've never used swift 3D or Maya, are they just the usual 3D modeling programs? Or are they special in some way? Box people sound cool, this is kinda inspiring me to do something similar lol.

Cool, 3D, but the colors are a bit simple. I mean, everything is just grey.

Do you see the thing that says "[WIP]"?

That means "Work In Progress". And that's why it's grey, non-textured.

Because its one of the best 3d software for animators on the world ?

Good start, try something more complicated, these just extrusions ;)
