I am trying to think up a design for my portfolio review on the first of May. The drawing is suppose to revolve around the theme "secret spaces." Now when I think of this I get a picture of secret hiding places, trap doors, & secret passage ways. Now I'm not saying that I'm not going to draw one of my ideas, but I want to see if I can get any inspiration from what you guys envision when you think of "secret spaces."

Maybe like, a little child sitting in a corner. His little secret place.

Pillow forts

Try something like a trapdoor but looking into it it exdents out into a big open area or something slightly more imaginative, or have a room that changes from a normal room to somewhere 'magical'. Else just go with the pillow-fort.
