Very nice for a first. Make your stickfigures legs longer and and their bodies shorter. Their arms should go to around midthigh. Also look up some walking tutorials online. Try thinking about how you walk down stairs and that is also how the stickfigure should walk down them. Nice job for your first though.

Sorry, but it didn't really look like a fall. And for that matter, they didn't look at all like stairs. He lands on his head and stops, balancing on his head? He would crumple over in a heap. Always try to imagine yourself doing it before animating a stick figure. But it seems like you got the gravity pretty well.

No, the springy crumble was cartoony and cool. Although if you want to be realistic, change it.

Otherwise just look at some tutorials, pretty good for a first.

The balancing head thing was kinda like a loony-toon thing, cartoons don't always have to be completely realistic. However, if it were like that on accident, I would follow what your saying.
