Whats with the sudden boner over guns with you? Need something to make you feel manly other than your obsession for Bethany?

No guys, they are making every gun made and kept in Montana legal, and safe from federal persecution. That's shooting down birds from your house mounted 50 caliber machine gun. And anti-aircraft guns in everyone's backyards, lol.

For the record I was making fun of Streloks boner for guns, I support the 2nd amendment but I don't have a raging boner over it and get into argument with my parents saying I want a gun for protection.....when I'm ****ing 13 or 14 or however old Mr. Bang Bang Boner Boy is.

You know where I stand on this so I won't repeat myself. What I wanted to say was, forgive my poor knowledge about your country, but what is the point of being able to make "federal" laws centrally if everyone can just choose not to obey them? It seems like a huge waste of time and money to me.

Also, what's the point in having state laws when federal law denies the state law? i.e. When in some states marijauna is legal but it's not legal in the US, so you can't use it anyway.

I only got in a debate with them. It's their house and if they don't want guns then they don't need to have guns.

Well yeah, that's the hiearchy of the law.
The state law is excluded when a federal law is defining something more specific. Or the constitution.
The federal law is excluded if it goes against the state law. Or the constitution.

It would all be simpler with an absolute monarchy.

Not every political system fits every country. A state's political system lies on historical reasons too ...
