Idea:
When mods ban you they could have the option to change your signature in the infraction page. The reason they type into the textfield will be set in front of the string: "THIS USER WAS BANNED FOR:" and the whole thing will be bolded and changed to red. The reason will then be on every post the user has on the forum and everyone who first notices through post examination will know the reason immediately.

example:
Myself is banned for "Trolling"

His sig changes to: "THIS USER WAS BANNED FOR: Trolling"

Less work for the mods, less work for the members, just an alteration to the infraction system, which I think this forum's software is capable of.

I know why I get banned, but I don't always agree with it, especially when I see someone in the chat threat pissing him off more then me... and gavel didn't even ban him!

We could solve everything, if we ban everyone except Kegman, there'd be no reason to ban anyone, because no fights would ever start!

So we have twenty members in favour and ten against, but those against include the mods and admins and I don't think that's a big enough majority to push it through.

Really, there's nothing wrong with how it is at the moment. If I ever need to know how long someone's banned for then Mantha can tell me and if I want to know why it's because I'm bored so searching through their most recent posts isn't exactly a hassle.
