I know that my art seems to be rather hated -severely- around here.

I've seen some pretty ****ING ugly stuff done which is "loved".

I was listening to sunkissed at the 3 quarter way point.
i actually sort of like it.
I used an extremely difficult paint program, which i've only used like 7 times.

still having a quite weird composition but i think it's in some way interesting.
which program did you use exactly? looks a bit like artrage.

Yes, you're the first one to guess that i use artrage (it's my best substitute for flash and photoshop)
not so good at it though, especially with the painting tools.
I sort of experiment first and then when i find something slightly average, i run with it.
I don't exactly know what's going on in it though, i just painted stuff, and this came out.

I don't know how much effort or skill it would take to make this, but of what i can see it doesnot look like any.

Yes, my avatar is on purposely sh*t, and yes i'm pretty much a prick about giving something you don't really want to hear in the first place on how to become better... Just take what i say and decide whether to give a sh*t about my opinion or not. If you do you'd only become better in my opinion, may become worse to others. Your choice on how to use the crit. Crit me harder if you want next time i post something if i do... might make you feel better.

i was making a joke that i thought we could both laugh. and i already said, you're not one to pussy out on harsh criticism, which in a way, makes you better than others.

What is there to offer? Put some thought in to what you do. Despite how it looks a lot of abstract art is carefully planned out. Just because you put some colours down and use the smudge tool doesn't mean you've made abstract art. It means you've created a mess of shit.

My "real" criticism is that it sucks.

On a side note. Not all of it is planned out. Some of it is just done freely. But it's only displayed if it actually works as a finished piece of art. Which yours isn't.

If you're going to get defensive when somebody says something sucks don't put it on the ****ing internet.
