I was thinking we should have a thread where we post bands that a lot of people don't know about but are really good.

The only two I can think of at the moment are Acid Bath and Maximum the Hormone. If I think of some more then I will add them though.

Acid Bath (For the smokers here at SPP, their music is amazing): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHDfzWwPnGA

Maximum the Hormone are really well known. Well, here they are and I see a lot of people listing them as a "good" band on some other forums, which I beg to differ, but anyway.

Cage the Elephant are good and don't get the attention they deserve. They're probably well known in some places, but I am yet to speak to somebody who says "Cage the Elephant? Yeah, I've heard them."
I would be creating a massive list of bands that aren't well known, but most of them are hitting it big now by being on ads for movies or touring with gay emo bands.

Also very popular. Well, definitely not little known. At least here in Finlands.
It's Dir, not Der, by zhe way.

I'm curious to how well known Polysics are. I've never heard of them outside of my own music collection, so I have no idea.
I could also list every single chiptune artist ever and claim they're little known, as it's not exactly a popular genre of music.

I saw them live. Was dragged along. I live in liverpool and plenty of my freinds are into them.

Isis. Don't know how popular they are but im the only person i know who likes them. They are incredibly epic and amazing. Spiritual stuff.

Haha yeah, my music taste has somewhat matured but i still think they are a pretty good band... more into classic rock and roll than hardcore stuff now. Even abit of rave and dance stuff :/ its odd how different things start to appeal

I wouldn't say I'm into them as much as what I was.
They're still good, granted, but they aren't as good as they were when they started.

I know how you feel. They became an emo fad here aswell. They still are. It's horrible.

The same with Pendulum. Hopefully they'll overlook The Prodigy's new album and I won't have to cut my cock off.
