The word "finale" is fairly definite. He didn't intend to make this one origionaly. Try making a pivot and putting loads of effort in. Don't even say you're entering until you've actually finished it and you think it's the best you've ever done. That's what I did. Now I just need to work out how to send .gif files.

yeah its pretty difficult to get the .gif the right size and fps... and then make sure it doesnt rape the effects.

The right size is fine - it's in options. I used double size and scaled it down by a factor of two to get extra detail in. Fps is a little trickier but I found it to be about 2/3 - 3/4 of the way up the bar. Frame delay set to 4. The .gif is fine when I view it on my computer but uploading it seems to be an issue.

Yeah well, once I put it up on Flash and changed the FPS, it was very smooth, a bit fast, seeable and smooth. Good work.

Also, I'm not saying anyone else with pivot make an entry, that'd be great, but if someone submits another pivot, it's going to be time consuming, because each fame is imported into the library as a bitmap labeled as bitmap 1, bitmap 2, etc. So if another is put in, all the bitmaps will have the same name, so someone else's entry will be converted to another person's entry because Flash thinks that they're the same things due to name. So I have to add a letter to each and every bitmap in the library. Unless someone else has a liable solution.

Do you have to be onscreen, or do you just have to know you're killed.
