It's not socially accepted to kill them there's no reason besides that.

Are you almost directly quoting me from the necrophilia thread?
The difference here is that you are hurting someone else, namely the person who might have otherwise come out of the coma to lead a successful life, win a nobel prize, swim with dolphins, learn to juggle, whatever the hell he wants to do.

If there's a chance for them to get out, then don't kill him. Sorry read your post wrong >.>

Oh ok. Yes, obviously if they are in a permanant vegetitive state with no possibility of recovery then they are just a drain on resources with no benefit and their life support machine should be switched off.

What im saying isnt kill the ones who grow old and become weak, because that happens to everyone. Im not even saying KILL anyone. Im just saying to not go against natures will to save those who are born with something that keeps them from being able to live, or who come to get a deadly disease.
Its not killing, its just not saving

If it was nature's will, then she would. Everything here is nature, man. We're nature too and we were gifted with the gift to be able to make tools to make medicines and other stuff with.

In my high school they have special rooms and classes for mentally disabled people. They're kind of gross to look at to be honest. Fat people with glasses who walk while throwing their heads from shoulder to shoulder and trying to lick their ears.
However, there are also people in that group who are geniuses. They can't move their bodies correctly so they're in wheelchairs, but they have a computer built into the wheelchair and a keyboard on each arm of the seat so they can type to the computer. They'd have this person hook up their computer into a projector in the lecture halls of the school. She teaches university physics.
If natural selection existed, we wouldn't have those fat kids in the group, but then we would also not have the type of people like the girl in the wheelchair.

"Hey, I have Cancer, a disease that I just randomly got and there was nothing I could have done differently in my life to prevent. Can you guys help me and give me some chemotherapy or radiation treatment to help prolong my life so I can see my kids grow up and enjoy my remaining years?"
"Sorry, but you are weak. And furthermore, you are just another mouth to feed and we really don't want to deal with you anymore. And besides, it would be going against nature's will to help you."
"But it isn't hard to give me Chemo. I will pay for it, why are you guys denying me treatment?"
"Piss off. We don't have time to deal with weaklings like you."

Thing is that it is a problem, whether you guys think so or not. Overpopulation isn't a problem providing that people are educated and know how to grow food. But take some of the more rural southern state, where the "Red neck" stereotype is. They have poor education and will breed like rabbits. Then because of their poor education they can't contribute to society efficiently. Then if inbreeding does occur, then the chance of a disability increases somewhat. Then if the disabled person does survive, they will more then likely breed with another disabled person, as they don't feel as inferior as when they are around non disabled people. Again the chances of a disability increase again.
Although it wont be beneficial to the survival of humanity, evolution would probably pick up again, but possibly going backwards.

Quote from BluGilNatural selection means the weak will be stripped of life, because, well, they are weak. But in our world today, we support the weak, and so they are kept alive.
"Weak" would mean, (and this sounds heartless and mean but scientifically and emotionlessly its true) those that are disabled, mentally or physically, or those who grow abnormally small, maybe large. Also those with sever diseases.
By keeping those that are weak alive, they will reproduce, and their genes will be passed along. This means that our population is actually weakening from doing this. If we were to allow natural selection to do what it does, our race would become stronger.
Moving on to overpopulation, our world is covered by over 6,000,000,000 people. And we keep hearing about campaigns to save people from all these natural diseases. I think theres way too many of us. Let those that are destined to die, die. Then our world will be thinner, peoplewise. Nature will be allowed to flourish like it once did. People will be less ignorant, and those that are alive will be stronger.
So, should we stop saving the weak?
I have scoliosis, and my mother could have died while I was coming into this world due to massive bleeding. If she hadn't gotten medical treatment she most likely would have died while in labor.
so
****
YOU.

At least you saw the slight not in your idea.
It's fine.
Though people could stop having 11 children, just to help thin the population just a little...
