see like the first ball is on focus and the last ones are blured well thats Depth of Field

yeah, what's with the rendering? And i noticed that square too... why is there a square light?
And the balls almost don't show reflections of the floor and other balls around 'em...
WTF is up with that?
If i was you (which i'm not. i think) then i would make em super shiny and reflective, like a reflective metal or a coloured mirror... random

I miss the time when you and Mr. Pancake were around doing all sorts of 3D stuff.

Why Balls? because its a simple test :P and it looks better than boxes :S

The square is just a Target area light, only for secondary lighting

The balls material is a simple Arch & Design standard material :P

i dont understand the question why there is a square light... a light scource can pretty much have any shape ._.

But in 3ds max the Area lights are square shaped, its just a square sending light :D

Oo all the balls have the same size (i created one ball, clone it and put differents materials)
