I watched a while back, I remember the audience clapping when the AiC song came on.

Nostalgia .. Oh the Nostalgia.

No, there aren't any DVD Screeners.

You should have complained to the manager. They give you a raincheck, usually.

Quote from Paperclip
I think it was a pretty good movie. I mean it wasn't absolutely amazing, but I liked it better than the previous two terminators. Regarding Arnold, he is in the movie for about 3 minutes with his skin and then all of his skin is burned off and thus comes the cg terminator as we know it.

You mean the previous 3

Christian Bale, in all honesty, ruined the movie for me.

I actually liked the movie, it was a really, REALLY good action movie, and the CGI Arnold cameo was worth the 6 dollar entry.

But Bale ruined it. He made John Connor, a kid that was being searched for and hunted since before he was even born and would go from some little punk kid into the leader of the resistance against the machines, into an asshole. I mean, how can someone be the leader of a resistance if they only care about their OWN gain and goals, and not of everyone elses?

He just seemed like a complete asshole throughout the movie and he only gave a shit about himself, noone else.

And the ending of the movie pissed me off. Was this not hyped as the end of the war or something of the like? Even throughout the movie there was "If we bomb this place the war will be over! We will have won!"

And then the very last line of the movie was "The battle has been won, but the war is not over..." I mean, what the dickens is this? I know this is going to be a trilogy, but thats really how they're going to end it, the weakest excuse to have another movie?

Otherwise, these things aside, it was a really good action movie. Maybe not a good Terminator movie, but definitely a must watch just for the action.

Pinky... I think it's writers fault for the egoistic type of Connor.

Well... and now about Bale.

Harsh times
American psyco
Reign of fire
Batman begins
Batnam the dark knight
Equilibrium
3:10 to yuma
The Machinist
... and maybe a few more.

Those are all the movies I saw where Bale is in. And all of those movies I could rate al least 8/10 and not cos of the Bales act but cos of the story. It's always awsome, interesting and original.

So when I saw that Bale is in the terminator4 I knew it's gonna be good.
And it was awsome, great action, great sceens, great story and very good directed (like: "when john went on the helicopter" sceen).

I agree with BlackPudding. It's not Bale who was writing the script.

I liked the action, the plot setting was good, but then it didn't seem like they put any effort in it. They just put a lot of cliches in it, because they've been tested before and it's known they sell good. What am I talking about?

Sarah Connor says on the tape:"Listen to your heart." Come on, man. If she said anything but that, it would have been much better. "Never take your laxatives with your sleeping pills"

Then that speech at the end. First there's this "what makes us human" jazz, and as if that wasn't enough, they had to put in "we make our own destiny". That really ruined it for me. Why can't they put something new, something creative. Maaaannnnn ...

Otherwise it was an okay movie imo. Bike terminators, hell yeah.

So everyone loves Heath Ledger as The Joker and noone ever seems to give the script writers any credit, but I talk about Bale and now its apparently the scriptwriters fault?

The script might've been what the script was, but that doesn't leave the fact Bale striked me as an asshole in this movie. Not a badass, but just an asshole. Like, someone else would've been able to play the role better. And the scenes where your suppose to feel emotion, well seeing his emotionless face subtracted from any type of feeling I could've had.

That one leaked audio clip of him flipping out on set might've added to this, but still.
