Thats right peoples, its BACK. I talked with Bubbleman over MSN about this and he said "Screw it" [not his exact words, but essentially what it implied =P] to the old one. People would be ashamed of their nearly year old crap anyways. So with his permission I have remade the Heavy Object Collab. May the madness begin!

For those of you who were not around I shall explain what the collab is about. Basically you will download an fla background. On the left is a tube where your stick figure [or fullbody character] will fall out of, he lands on a conveyor belt that takes him to the center of the screen. A red light goes off. and a heavy object falls and crushes on him. The object is up to you! After that the conveyor belt continues and pushes off a ledge and off the screen prime for the next entrant.

NO MORE VOTES NEEDED!
We will be using Helix suggested by SSOutphase

RULES:
Flash 8 and up only, sorry MX users, upgrade.

If you are using Flash CS3 save your files in a Flash 8 format [drop down menu when saving] Otherwise I can't open them.

FPS 24

If you can't animate at 24 FPS animate at 12 FPS then double frame.

Dimensions: use the background fla.

DO NOT CHANGE WHERE THE BACKGROUND IS AT If you need to "shake" the screen or something, use a v-cam the size of the stage [this is the only time vcam is allowed]. Your background layer will be removed at the end and replaced with one constant frame so the background isn't moving all over the place.

Sounds or music are not allowed I will add sounds to all the entries, for the sake of constancy with sounds. I will be the only one to add them.

Fullbody is allowed, but you must be good at it.

Be creative about what crushes him. A weight that says "heavy" or "1,000,000 lb" isn't original. Make it big funny and original.

NO VCAM Vcam is not allowed, the background is constant and by using a v-cam you are changing the view of the background. [only exception is shaking the screen as seen above.]

Name the your symbols AND TWEENS [not including the symbols & tweens for the background] "yourname1" or "yournamehead" like "Cheesy1" or "Cheesyhead"

DO NOT NAME THEM ASLKIJFHBFIFSKIJD not only is naming it for the sake of not overwriting someoneelses symbol but its also for organizing so by naming it "lkjnoiknijblkb" I can't remember whose symbol it its is and it makes it hard to finder all of your symbols when I need to.

Sign your animation in the upper right hand corner of the screen. AND BREAK IT APART! I have had so many people not break it apart its not even funny or innocent anymore. Break it apart! To break it apart highlight your text and press CTRL + B twice.

Save your fla file as yournameheavycollab.fla I would name mine cheesyheavycollab.fla. Do NOT overwrite the background fla.

Send me the FLA file when you're done. NOT THE SWF A half dozen people sent me the swf file last time. Save yourself the trouble and send it right the first time. Use savefile.com to host your fla.

DUE DATE IS APRIL 18TH!

BACKGROUND:

Heres the backgrounds fla. Make sure you delete the instructions layer on it. Creds to Bubbleman for the background.
http://www.savefile.com/files/1463342
Heres the stop code it talks about in there
onClipEvent(enterFrame){
stop()
}

Create a keyframe and place it on the wheel movieclip when you want the conveyor to stop moving. NOT THE FRAME When you want it to start moving create a keyframe and remove the code. Its simple

Theres been some confusion on what it should all look like so heres a quickly and badly animated example of your entry should look like.
On Antiup
On Swfup
This is NOT an official entry for the collab. I don't want to hear "omg thats aweful!" or similar posts, this was thrown together to show you what you basically need to do, nothing more. It is also not an example of my animation skill. So I do NOT want comments on it.

Right, throw me up, I'll spend the better part of tommorrow morning on it or something. If I can be bothered I'll skin this animation, just to see how it looks.

Absolutely, man! I'd be honored to take part in another one of your collaborations! I will replace the blue entry I have planned for my collab to take part in this one! I only need one entry! :3

I'll get to work soon.

Well I'm generally more known than you are and I have a reputation for making collabs. My invites would most likely turn out better than yours. =P

No offense, its just common sense, if you could join a collab made by me or a collab made by "stickkill007" whose would you join? =P

Due date is 3 weeks from today's friday [so I have the weekend to tie them together it], whatever day that is I'll edit first post with due date and with a timer in a bit.

EDIT: Thats April 18th

Yeah, you can make it a bit longer. Just follow the rest of the restrictions.

I would join, but I have to work on my SPP Contest animation. If I have time once I've finished it (but I doubt I will, because then I have full-time work experience), I might do something, but don't count on it k.

I don't think so.

But your last animation at 24 fps was pretty sexy, NTG.
